Fire Drill
To “drill” a fire, you need to rotate a wooden stick in a small dimple on a board, intensifying the movement with a special “fire bow”. The friction generates heat; smoke comes up and a red-hot dust forms.
If you put the dust on easily inflammable material, for example tinder fungus, a fire might start.
Our construction manual will help you to build a real fire drill. Then you have to practice some time. You will need stamina until your first campfire burns.
