It is the achievement of the artist and curator Volker Marten that eleven internationally renowned artists could be won for the Neander valley. The realisation of the project was successfully completed within the framework of the EUROGA 2002plus. As the path is in a public space, it can be visited at any time of the day.

The sculptures are accompanied by an audio-system which presents interviews with the various artists. These very personal and poetic texts allow a deeper access to the works. The sculptures are recapitulated in a catalogue with texts by Walter Graskamp and Volker Friedrich, and in an interactive CD-ROM.
