February to June 2008, Stone Age Massacre - Crime Scene Talheim

The exhibition "Stone Age Massacre - Crime Scene Talheim!" is a real stone-age crime thriller. It tells the whole story of 34 people who were killed by a "murder gang" in Talheim, 7000 years ago. Recently the crime has been solved and reconstructed especially for the exhibition by archaeologists and pathologists.

They worked with the most modern methods to solve the ancient murder case. The scientists were able to identify by genetic meticulous work the people's age, sex, diseases, and signs of deficiency. Even the relationships of about four great-families were detected.
