Guided tours for school classes
In collaboration with school teachers, the Neanderthal Museum has designed six guided tours made especially for pupils. Varying age groups and school-types are taken into consideration. The programmes include activities as well as presentations of objects which students may touch in order to help them understand our history.
- Primary school: grade 2 – 4, subject: Social studies
- Secondary school: grade 5 – 6, subject: History
- Secondary school: grade 5 – 7, subject: Biology
- Secondary school: grade 8 – 10, subject: Biology
- Secondary school: grade 10 – 12, subject: Biology (evolutionary biology/ ecology)
- Secondary school: grade 10 – 12, subject: Biology (evolutionary biology/ behavioural biology)

Guided tours of the permanent exhibition
As a matter of course all offers can be individually combined.
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 30 persons.
