"Human Traces" Art Trail

On a walk between the museum and the animal park, the interaction and tension between humans and nature can be experienced. To this end the "Human Traces" art trail, with its ten sculptures, was created.

The variety of artworks inspires reflection on human nature with the aim of instilling a new way of viewing nature. Along the loop-path following the River Düssel, there is an ever-changing interplay between the artworks and the surrounding landscape. Many of the pieces must be sought and "discovered" by visitors and many change along with the seasons.

The art trail is located in a public area and can be visited at any time.
